Adam Lambert is definitely NOT dating Ricky Martin
By Will Stroude

Adam Lambert has criticised an Australian radio host for perpetuating gay stereotypes during an interview promoting his new album, The Original High.
While appearing on KISS FM’s flagship breakfast radio program The Kyle and Jackie O show last Friday morning, Jackie O, one half of the duo known infamously for pushing the boundaries with guests and fans of the show, suggested Lambert should date The Voice Australia judge Ricky Martin, simply because they were both single and gay.
Lambert quickly laughed off Jackie O’s suggestion, telling her: “you’re not allowed to do that”.
“That’s so silly… Oh a gay guy and another gay guy, oh you must date… come on,” he sighed.
The host insisted there was more to her suggestion and a relationship between the two might benefit from a mutual understanding surrounding the pressures of each other’s schedules.
Striking the image of a raised eyebrow, Lambert asked “Is there?”
“You’re both hot… it would work,” she added.
Lambert, unconvinced, said the thought was “very sweet”.
Jackie O’s matchmaking attempts was followed by Lambert’s appearance on The Voice Australia, where he posted a selfie with Martin on his Instagram account, attracting in excess of 35,000 likes.
During the radio interview, Lambert also criticised the Australian government’s position on marriage equality, telling Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott to “get with the picture”.
“I’m sure it will happen. I’ve always thought of Australia as such a progressive place, so liberal,” Lambert said.
“The attitudes here from what I have experienced towards anybody who’s alternative with their sexuality or lifestyle seems pretty open. So I’m sure it will come around soon.”
