Watch Letterman flounce out on Joan Rivers during interview

Joan Rivers made headlines last Saturday (July 5) when she stormed out of a live TV interview after becoming frustrated with what she perceived as a “negative” line of questioning.

Now Rivers’ old friend David Letterman has given the 81-year-old comedian a taste of her own medicine by walking out on her during an interview on his US chatshow, the Late Show with David Letterman.

After Letterman walks off set, Rivers is left alone and forced to interview herself – and in typical Joan Rivers fashion, she proceeds to ask herself a very intimate question about her vagina.

Rivers also caused controversy last Friday (July 4) when she made a joke in which she called Michelle Obama a “tranny”. She has since defended the joke, saying: “I think it’s a compliment.”
