US presidential candidate Donald Trump has unleashed onto the world a troupe of sugary sweet girls who sing about America’s capacity to crush its enemies.
Known as the USA Freedom Kids, the three girls performed before 15,000 people in ultra-patriotic, star-spangled-banner-inspired costumes, at a Trump supporter’s rally held in Florida this week (January 13).
On their Facebook page, the group promises their songs “will melt your heart, lift your spirits and inspire freedom”, and among lyrics to feature in their set, the group sing, “cowardice, are you serious? Apologies for freedom — I can’t handle this!”
“When freedom rings, answer the call!” they continue.
“On your feet, stand up tall! Freedom’s on our shoulders, USA! Enemies of freedom face the music. Come on boys, take them down!”
They go on with: “President Donald Trump knows how to make America great. Deal from strength or get crushed every time.”
The man who developed the song, Jeff Popick, told TIME he had been a Trump fan for decades, and was inspired to write the track after The Apprentice mogul entered the presidency race June last year.
“He [Trump] has a methodology for success and winning that’s second to none. To me, he’s always just been an inspiration,” said Popick.
It was reported by TIME the USA Freedom Kids has since delivered renditions of the National Anthem at games for the Miami Dolphins and the Miami Marlins.
“They love it. They truly live for this stuff,” added Popick.
“Every bit of it yesterday, it was a long day, but they absolutely stayed with it. Their energy was up. They loved meeting Donald Trump and performing.”
The girls even have their own limousine.
