Watch: Real-life gay family star in new Star Wars soup advert

A real-life same-sex family are starring in an adorable new soup commerical which will warm your heart.
Larry Sullivan and David Monahan and their son Cooper feature in the new marketing campaign for Campbell’s Stars Wars soup, which carries the tagline #RealRealLife.
The touching clip, which dubs Larry and David ‘the galaxy’s best dads’, sees the couple feeding Cooper and channeling their best Darth Vader s as they both tell him : “I am your father”.
Discussing the new campaign, which has been praised for its depiction of modern family life, a Campbell’s spokespoerson told AdAge: “We use this phrase internally of this notion of ‘moment telling’.
“We wanted to tell just very simple, telegraphic stories that didn’t always need the space of thirty seconds.
“It was sort of a lucky extra because that story just ended up being so rich and so endearing.”
