Victoria Beckham has ruled out the possibility of another Spice Girls reunion.

Posh Spice said that although performing at the Closing Ceremony of the London 2012 Olympics was “an incredible honour”, she thinks it is time to move on from the girl group.

Asked about the future of the Spice Girls, she told Vanity Fair Italy and Spain: “I won’t ever do it again. Doing the Olympics was an incredible honour. I was so proud to do it; proud to be British…

“That was a perfect time to say, ‘That’s great. Thank you to everybody, but no more.’ Sometimes you’ve got to know when it’s time to leave the party.”

Victoria – who will open her first fashion store in London later this year – said that there are similarities between her time in the Spice Girls and her current career.

“The Spice Girls were successful because we celebrated women. That’s why I do what I do today,” she said.

In December, Mel B revealed that she is hoping the group will reunite in 2014 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their formation.
