LGBT groups to air equality ad on Fox News during Trump acceptance speech

A group of American LGBT organisations will join forces to promote a message of trans acceptance as Donald Trump formally becomes the Republican presidential candidate.
A minute-long advert featuring North Carolina trans woman Alaina Kupec will be aired on Fox News, where Mr Trump, who seemingly supported trans-inclusive bathroom legislation before later retracting that support, is expected to give a speech after officially agreeing to become the GOP nominee.
The video has been produced by the Movement Advancement Project, Freedom for All Americans Education Fund and the Equality Ohio Education Fund, and shows Ms Kupec being directed to the men’s room by a member of staff before being escorted to the correct bathroom by two women.
