By Josh Lee

As the world counts down the days until we discover whether Hilary Clinton or Donald Trump will become the next US President, the former has taken the time to remind voters that she is committed to preserving and enhancing rights for LGBT people in the country.

Entitled Hilary Clinton: Equality is about changing hearts and minds, the video showcases LGBT families of all shapes and sizes while Hilary explains how she will ensure the march towards equality will continue under her presidency.

“We need to build an America where no one has to worry they can be married on Saturday and be fired on Monday,” she says in the video, referencing the lack of protections LGBT people face against workplace discrimination in parts of the US.

“Where kids aren’t bullied just for being who they are,” she continues

“Where every American has the chance to live up to his or her God given potential, no matter who they are, or who they love.”

The video comes as Hilary tears away from Trump, leading by 12 points in polls, according to reports.
