Freddie Fraser, heartthrob of The Traitors UK series 3, has revealed how he and his boyfriend, Bailey Ramsden, first sparked their romance and recalled experiencing homophobia at secondary school.

In August 2026, Fraser hard-launched his relationship with content creator Ramsden and subsequently came out.

This is Fraser’s first public relationship since he split from his girlfriend, Nisha Davenport, last year, shortly after Fraser starred in The Traitors.

Freddie Fraser opens up about his sexuality on Not My Bagg

Speaking on the Not My Bagg podcast with Joe Baggs, Fraser revealed he is bisexual, having realised this around six months before hard-launching his relationship with Ramsden.

“I was looking at boys like, ‘Do I think they’re good-looking because I want to be them, or because I fancy them?’” Fraser said.

He revealed Ramsden made the first move, sliding into his Instagram DMs, though he admitted: “I liked a few of his pictures first.”

“And then he sent me a DM with quite a confident message and I was like, ‘We’ll start chatting a little bit.’ And then we started going on dates, stuff like that. And I was like, ‘Oh, it’s quite sweet.’”

Fraser, 22, admitted he was bullied in secondary school before coming to terms with his sexuality.

He said his classmates used to say: “Oh, you’re gay. You’re gay. You’re gay,” though he admitted it didn’t change who he was because of their homophobic comments.

Confronting stereotypes

He spoke about enjoying musicals and “girly” pop music, adding: “I don’t care. If that brings me enjoyment, then who cares?”

Fraser and Ramsden have been teasing their relationship for a few months now, appearing on one another’s social media pages and using relationship-esque terminology.

Their relationship marks the reality TV star’s first public LGBTQ+ relationship.
