Revealed: The winner of Attitude’s HOT 100 2015

The votes are in. They’ve been counted, verified, and counted again – and we’re thrilled to reveal that this year’s Attitude HOT 100 winner, with DiscoverLA, is none other than Australian bobsledder Simon Dunn!
The openly gay Aussie athlete was voted the hottest man in the world by Attitude readers in the annual poll, which this year saw more votes cast than ever before.
The shock result saw Simon usurp two-time winner Tom Daley from the top spot, in a top ten that was full of surprise results this year. Simon Dunn made headlines around the world last year after joining the Australian bobsleigh team – making him the world’s first openly gay man to do so. Speaking to Attitude recently, the former Sydney Convicts rugby union player rugby admitted he was ready to find a man, settle down and start a family, but that he’ll only be getting married when it’s legal to do so in his home country of Australia.
The newly-appointed world’s hottest man also stripped off for Attitude Naked Issue earlier this year – something that undoubtedly helps explain his meteoric rise to the top of the HOT 100 elite – check out exclusive pics from his shoot here.
The full list was revealed at tonight’s HOT 100 event in central London. Close behind Simon in the poll was Magic Mike XXL star Channing Tatum in second, and One Direction’s Liam Payne, who stormed up the rankings into third place this year.
Meanwhile, two-time winner Tom Daley fell to fourth, sandwiched nicely between Payne and Captain America star Chris Evans, who came in fifth.
Reacting to his victory, Simon said: “It’s flattering enough to have been voted on to the HOT 100 at all but to think I have been voted number one and beat guys like Tom Daley and Liam Payne is beyond me!I’m absolutely convinced my mother had all her friends vote for me – thanks mum!
“I just want to say thanks to everyone who voted for me for their ongoing support and I hope that my win can help spread the word about equality in sport. If I can make one young gay teen see that sexuality shouldn’t be a factor in sport then that’s a win in itself”
