Nicki Minaj has praised Donald Trump again after The White House’s official TikTok account used her music in a post.

The video, which featured President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump, paired a mashup of Minaj’s Beez in the Trap and 4 Non Blondes’ What’s Up? with footage of the couple at public events. Scenes included them walking hand in hand, dancing on the White House balcony, and appearing at the inauguration.

Minaj shared her reaction on X, writing: “The President & First Lady of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Barbz, idk which one of you uploaded this to the white house TikTok but just know unlimited backstage GAG CITY FOR LIFE.”

“Nicki Minaj and President Trump teaming up was not on my 2025 bingo card” – said a fan after their recent interactions

She added, “Idk what timeline we’re on right now, I’m just goin w|the flow.” Beneath the original post, she also commented: “This is pretty incredible. Thank you.”

Fans responded quickly on TikTok, with comments including, “The Nicki and Trump collab we didn’t know we needed,” and, “Nicki Minaj and President Trump teaming up was not on my 2025 bingo card.”

This follows previous interactions between Minaj and the Trump family on social media. In October, a video of President Trump’s granddaughter, Kai Trump, taking part in a trending challenge caught Minaj’s attention, prompting her to repost it on X with three emojis, including a heart and a laughing face.

Kai later shared a second video of her and a friend taking part in the trend, captioned, “Us because Nicki Minaj saw our TikTok.”

When did Minaj come under fire for praising him before?

Just days ago, Minaj publicly praised Trump for recognising the persecution of Christians in Nigeria, later defending the decision by telling LGBTQ+ fans they are “blinded” by their “personal obsession with Trump”.

The rapper had posted a screenshot from his Truth Social account, which read: “Christianity is facing an existential threat in Nigeria. Thousands of Christians are being killed. Radical Islamists are responsible for this mass slaughter. I am hereby making Nigeria a ‘COUNTRY OF PARTICULAR CONCERN.’”

Minaj said the message gave her “a deep sense of gratitude” for living in a country “where we can freely worship God.” She added: “Thank you to The President & his team for taking this seriously.”

Her post triggered backlash from fans who accused her of ignoring Trump’s record on LGBTQ+ rights. One long-time follower wrote: “[N]icki as a die hard fan, who genuinely sticks besides you through every single scandal, you cozying up to this fucking loser, [I] might actually have to tap out. we live in a country that wants to weaponize religion so YOUR GAY FANS can be pushed into a corner and silenced.”
