The first teaser for The Royals – US cable network E!’s first ever scripted series – has been released. Watch it below.
The hour-long drama from the creator of One Tree Hill follows the lives of a fictional version of the British family and already seems destined to become a camp cult classic.
The forthcoming series stars Elizabeth Hurley – yes, Elizabeth Hurley – as the Queen of England.
“I’m just a bitch with some money and power… but I do make it look good,” she says in the teaser, before taking a swig from a bottle of red wine.
The Royals is set to premiere on E! in 2015. In the meantime, tease yourself below.
