Sam Smith announces 2015 ‘In The Lonely Hour’ tour

Sam Smith has announced a UK tour for 2015.

The singer will embark on a series of live shows next March in support of his debut album In The Lonely Hour, which returned to number one in the UK on Sunday (September 7).

The eight-date tour includes two shows in Glasgow, Manchester and Wolverhampton.

The tour will then conclude with two special shows at London’s O2 Academy in Brixton on March 25 and 26.

Smith recently explained that he isn’t trying to be a “spokesperson” for the gay community after speaking publicly about his sexuality – read more here.

Tickets for Smith’s 2015 tour go on sale on Friday (September 12) at 9am. Check out the full list of dates below:

March 16 & 17 – Glasgow O2 Academy
March 19 & 20 – Manchester O2 Apollo
March 22 & 23 – Wolverhampton Civic Hall
March 25 &26 – London O2 Academy Brixton
