star Robyn is working on a new solo album.

The Swedish pop singer, who is currently touring with Röyksopp in support of their recently released collaborative mini-album, has revealed that she is now crafting a follow-up to her 2010 album trilogy Body Talk.

One of the producers Robyn had been collaborating with, Christian Falk, sadly died last month (July), and the singer said that Falk’s passing has “changed the songs a little”.

“He was sick for a while before he died, and that’s also one of the reasons I wanted to make sure that we got that material out there, before he actually disappeared from the face of this earth,” the singer told TIME.

Robyn conintued: “It’s also changed the songs a little bit, me and Markus [Jägerstedt, another producer] are still working on it. It’s going to be strange, but very healing, to finish the record without Christian.”

Robyn released three Body Talk albums in 2010, the third featuring new tracks mixed with highlights from the first two records. The single Dancing On My Own went on to become one of her signature hits and famously appeared in a club scene in HBO’s Girls.

Earlier this year, we argued that the world really needs a new Robyn album in 2014 – find out why here.
