By David Hutchison

Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett have announced the first single from their long-promised jazz album.

Anything Goes, a cover of the Cole Porter classic, will be the first release from their joint big band album Cheek to Cheek, which is expected to be released this September. Check out the cover art, which was shot by Steven Klein, below.

A clip from the track was uploaded to Soundcloud earlier today (July 29), but the full song has since appeared online. Listen to it below.

Gaga performed with Bennett at the Lincoln Center in New York City last night (July 28) – and told the audience: “You know, it’s funny, but jazz comes a little more comfortable for me than pop music, than R&B music. I’ve sang jazz since I was 13 years old, which is kind of like my little secret that Tony found out. So this is almost easier for me than anything else.”

Meanwhile, Gaga is currently midway through her ‘ArtRave:The Artpop Ball’ tour, which will call in on the UK and Ireland in October and November.

The singer recent covered the jazz standard I’ve Got a Crush On You at a gig in Canada – watch her take on the song here.
