In a new interview, Moroder – who is responsible for hits like Blondie’s Call Me and Donna Summer’s I Feel Love – has revealed that the track he recorded with the Slave 4 U singer is a cover of an “old song” that he “already knew”.

“Britney actually came to me. She asked me if I was interested in doing an old song, which obviously I liked and I knew,” said the producer. “She came to the studio and she did it relatively fast and absolutely gave the track her special touch.”

Spears – who is currently performing in Las Vegas – was recently joined on stage by actress and comedian Kathy Griffin for a special performance – find out more here.
