All Stars 6 queen (and clear ’90s kid) Ginger Minj has shared that she named herself after Spice Girls star Geri Horner (née Halliwell).

The ru-veal came after this week’s singing challenge, as the competitors discussed girl groups and the music they listened to growing up.

Jan also said she was a huge fan of the ‘Wannabe’ singers – even revealing that, as a kid, she once met Geri.

“My grandparents took me to her solo album signing “

“Which one of us did not want to be in a girl group when we were growing up?” Ginger, 36, asked the fellow queens.

“I loved the Spice Girls son much,” replied Jan, to which Ginger said: “Girl, my name is Ginger because I wanted to be Ginger Spice so much.”

“My grandparents took me to her solo album signing at the House of Blues at, like, five or six years old,” Jan then explained. “I’m happy that they let me express myself.”

Attitude’s 2016 Honourary Gay Award winner Geri has served as a guest judge on Drag Race UK, but unlike bandmates Mel B and Emma Bunton, is yet to appear on any of the franchise’s US shows.
