wants another Spice Girls reunion!

The former (erm, eternal – Ed.) Scary Spice has revealed that she is hoping that the group will reunite in 2014 to mark the 20th anniversary of their formation.

“It will be our 20th year anniversary next year so I’m hoping we do get together and do something,” she told MTV News. “It kind of would be a shame if we didn’t.

“There’s so many highlights from being with the Spice Girls and touring. From meeting Nelson Mandela and hanging out with him at his home, being able to go to Japan and greeting all the Japanese fans, touring Europe, I mean there are so many different things. We’ve done quite a lot, thanks to all the support from Spice fans.”

Fellow Spice Girls Geri Halliwell, Melanie C and Emma Bunton have all expressed interest in working together again. However, Victoria Beckham might not be as keen on Mel’s idea as the rest of the group.

She recently told Vogue Paris: “I realised it was finished for good in 2008, when we reformed for our reunion tour. It should have been the best moment of my life, but I just wanted to be elsewhere.

“It wasn’t a lack of respect for the girls or the audience, but the passion just wasn’t there. By contrast, in my new career, the passion grows every year. I still want more.”

The Spice Girls last reunited in 2012 to perform at the Closing Ceremony of the London 2012 Olympics. Watch their performance below:
