Eminem’s adopted child, Stevie, is ‘forever growing and changing’ as they come out as non-binary
Posting a series of images on TikTok, they showed how their gender identity and pronouns have changed.

Eminem’s adopted child has come out as non-binary and changed their name to Stevie.
In a TikTok post, the 19-year-old opened up about the evolution of their pronouns with the captions, “watch me become more comfortable with myself” and “forever growing and changing”.
Stevie’s mother is Eminem’s ex-wife Kim Scott, who is currently in hospital after allegedly attempting to take her own life.

Stevie shared a series of images taken over the years, including as “Whitney”, where they used she/her pronouns. The pictures then progress to show their pronouns becoming they/she and finally all pronouns.

In an Instagram profile dating back to 17 June, Stevie confirmed their use of all pronouns, writing “call me Stevie” and listing “they/she/he” pronouns, with a peace sign emoji.

They previously came out as bisexual at a Harry Styles concert aged 15, according to The Metro.
When asked on TikTok about choosing the name Stevie, they said “I spent a long time trying to pick a name I felt uncomfortable with and the first name I felt comfortable with is Stevie!”
There’s been no reaction yet from Stevie’s adoptive father, Eminem (real name Marshall Mathers) who doesn’t have the best track record when it comes to the LGBTQ community.
In 2018 he was criticised for using a homophobic slur in his song ‘The Fall’ when he referred to Tyler, The Creator as a “f***** bitch”. The 48-year-old did apologise saying he’d gone “too far”.
He continued: “Because in my quest to hurt him, I realise that I was hurting a lot of other people by saying it. It was one of the things that I kept going back to and going, ‘I don’t feel right with this’.”
Eminem has also used homophobic lyrics in other songs. He called rival rappers “f*****s” and “queer” in his 2000 song ‘Marshall Mathers’ and included the lyrics “Hate f**s? The answer’s ‘yes'” in ‘Criminal’.
