By Nick Levine

Taylor Swift RED Tour Opener - Omaha, Nebraska

Taylor Swift is to kick off the UK leg of her Red Tour at The O2 Arena in London tonight (February 1).

Tonight’s gig is the first of five the singer has booked in at the 20,000 capacity venue. She will also perform at The O2 Arena on February 2, 4, 10 and 11.

Taylor took her Red Tour across North America from March to September of last year (2013), before playing seven dates in Australia and New Zealand later that year. Aside from her London dates, she has just one more European show scheduled: in Berlin, Germany on February 7.

The album that gives the tour its name, Red, was released in October 2012 and debuted at Number One in both the UK and US. It has now sold over six million copies worldwide after spawning the hits We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together, I Knew You Were Trouble, 22 and Everything Has Changed.

Check back on Attitude.co.uk tomorrow morning (February 2) for a full report from the opening night of Taylor’s UK tour.
