Watch Mississippi diners react to gay couple’s affection

US TV show What Would You Do? has tested how members of the American public react when a gay couple shows affection in public.

The long-running ABC show creates potentially controversial situations with actors – and then uses hidden cameras to record the public’s reaction.

In a recent episode, the show hired two actors to play a gay couple dining out at a Mexican restaurant in the small town of Vicksburg, Mississippi – then filmed fellow diners’ reactions as the couple got touchy-feely and kissed one another.

Meanwhile, a third actor tried to rile up the diners by suggesting the gay couple’s show of affection was “disgusting.”

A number of diners took offence to the gay couple, but others leaped to their defence. Watch the video below.
