Trans woman attacked and robbed by seven men in convenience store in D.C.
She claimed the cashier refused to help her during the attack

A transgender woman was brutally attacked and robbed at a convenience store in Washington D.C.
Alicia Love – a manager at the D.C. Eagle, a local gay bar – was leaving work on Friday (August 2) and went into a gas station for some food but a group of men began hurling abuse and slurs towards her.
She told the Washington Blade: “As I’m going to the gas station, I walked past a group of seven guys and they were calling me names like tranny, he-she, f****t.
“I ignored it and I stayed focused on where I was walking. And basically, they started saying give me your purse, give me your stuff, and I was like leave me alone, I don’t want any problems.
“So, before I could say anything more, they ran up on me, all seven of the guys, and they jumped me.
“And I fell to the ground and they started to kick me and punch me and kick me in my face and called me names: tranny.”
After being attacked, she reportedly ran inside the gas station, but the cashier ignored her pleas for help and the men followed in and continued to attack her.
“And they started to punch me and beat me up and they took my fanny pack and they took my phone and everything,” Love added.
“I just came out of the gas station and fell on the ground and started to cry.
“I just didn’t know what to do. I was crouched up. I was bruised up.”
Love was left bruised and bleeding and she claimed the men stole $300 in cash, her phone and her bank card and ID.
