Miley Cyrus is going to use her upcoming Bangerz tour to hand out free merchandise to her fans.

Speaking at a recent press event, Miley said: “I want to give my fans real things they can collect. I’m a bit of a hoarder. It’s my mum’s worse nightmare. I hope my fans become hoarders also so I’m giving a lot of junk away at the shows…I’ll have things falling out of the sky that most people would sell at the merch table”.

Miley confirmed that each Bangerz concert will last 90 minutes, followed by an acoustic set that can be as long as she likes. She’ll be wearing costumes designed by fashion heavyweights such as Marc Jacobs, Jeremy Scott and Bob Mackie.

“My thing has never been about me making money,” she said. “I did that when I was a kid. I made the money I needed to make and now it’s about putting money into the tour and making sure my fans get the best show…making it worth going to see.”

Miley’s Bangerz tour comes to the UK on the May 6th, hitting London, Glasgow, Birmingham, Manchester and Belfast.
