Gay adult star Tyler Roberts has died, confirms boyfriend

Gay adult star Tyler Roberts has died, his boyfriend has confirmed.

The actor, whose real name was Eric Ryan Hazen, passed away on 2 December, with his boyfriend Aaron Thomas confirming the news on Twitter two days later.

Roberts’ family subsequently confirmed his death in a statement posted to his GoFundMe page.

In a Twitter tribute, Thomas said: “@XXXTylerRoberts passed away yesterday. His family and I are grieving as Eric left a huge space behind that can’t easily be fixed.

“Lead with love and tell everyone you can you love them as if it’s the last. I love you Bubba. Rest now.”

In a screenshot, Thomas furthermore added: “The love of my life, a man who showed me what it was like to be loved unconditionally, passed away after a long fight in the hospital. Eric, I will always love you.”

In a statement posted to a GoFundMe page dedicated to Tyler, friends and family said: “Thank you to all who have reached out, prayed, and contributed.

“We are heartbroken to say that Eric passed away on Friday, December 2nd, after a long and hard fight. As Eric’s family, his partner, and his friends mourn this unimaginable loss, we ask for donations to help with services and other costs associated with this tragedy.”

They also added: “This will hopefully at least relieve the financial stress so everyone can have the space to grieve. Please keep our angel Eric and his loved ones in your thoughts and prayers.”

The original GoFundMe introduction stated: “Our funny, sweet, sassy, gentle giant, Eric Hazen, has fallen into critical condition while on vacation in Palm Springs. He’s currently battling for his life in the ICU, facing heart, liver, and kidney failure, among other dangerous ailments.”

The Miami-based star made his industry debut in 2008.
