Nicole Kidman shares inside story behind Troye Sivan video cameo: ‘I love him’ (EXCLUSIVE)

Nicole Kidman has revealed the inside story behind her recent cameo in Troye Sivan‘s music video for his new single ‘She’s the Best’.
Speaking to Attitude on the red carpet at the London premiere of Practical Magic 2 this week, and asked for her message to young LGBTQ fans, the Oscar-winner said: “Well, I just made Troye Sivan’s video! So hopefully that was a good message!
“[My message is] just love, love, inclusiveness, we’re all here. We gotcha.”

Elaborating on her appearance in fellow Aussie Sivan’s video, the actress, also known for films like The Hours and Rabbit Hole, went on: “I love him. I’ve known him for such a long time.
“He called me up and just said: ‘Will you be in this with me?’
“I didn’t even need to read anything, I didn’t need to have any information, I just said: ‘Yeah! I’m in!’
“But that’s me! I make very spontaneous decisions!”
Kidman’s last music video appearance was 25 years ago in ‘Somethin’ Stupid’, her duet with Robbie Williams.
Kidman last spoke to Attitude in 2024 for the release of Babygirl, telling us of playing a supportive parent to an LGBTQ child: “I make my artistic choices knowing what I’m doing.
“I love to be a bridge. Boy, Erased was very much – I made that for that reason. So, there was a bridge for families that were not in a place of love for each other.”
