Watch | Oxford uni boys are back with a cover of ‘Santa Baby’

By Will Stroude

Remember Out of the Blue? They’re the all-male Oxford vocal group who’ve already been finding fame with their incredible covers of everything from Shakira’s ‘Hips Don’t Lie’ to Labelle’s ‘Lady Marmalade’. Now the real life Glee club are back their brand new Christmas charity single, a cover of Eartha Kitt’s classic ‘Santa Baby’.

Safe to say it’s warming our cockles on a cold December morning, and we also can’t help but notice that our favourite a cappella cuties aren’t afraid to keep the song’s original male pronouns – which we love, obviously.

As with last year’s festive single, Mariah Carey’s ‘All I Want for Christmas is You’, all the proceed from downloads of the track will be donated to the Helen & Douglas House Hospice for Children and Young Adults. Check it out below:

Out of the Blue’s cover of ‘Santa Baby’ is available to download here. Follow the boys on Twitter@ootboxford.
