Neil Patrick Harris on split reports: ‘They’re woefully mistaken’

Neil Patrick Harris has responded to reports that he has separated from fiancé David Burtka.

The How I Met Your Mother actor posted a shot of Burtka and their two children, and said that he “couldn’t be more in love” with his family.

Earlier this month, tabloids claimed that the couple’s engagement had to come to an end after eight years together, and also reported that they were seeing other people.

Harris captioned his photo: “I couldn’t be more in love with my family. Any reports to the contrary are woefully mistaken.”

The couple have two children together, twins Harper Grace and Gideon Scott, who are three and a half years old.

It was recently confirmed that Girls actor Andrew Rannells will replace Harris in the Broadway production of Hedwig and the Angry Inch – read more here.
