Miley Cyrus says she’s had relationships with other women

By Josh Haggis

Miley Cyrus has admitted that she’s been in relationships with other women.

The former Disney star, who recently launched a foundation that aims to help LGBT youths, made the remark whilst discussing the shocking statistics behind homelessness in the US, where over 40% of those under 18 living on the streets identify as LGBT.

During an interview with Associated Press, Cyrus said that not all her past relationships have been “straight, heterosexual ones”.

The We Can’t Stop singer went on to talk about her own gender identification, explaining that she “doesn’t relate” to traditional gender roles.

“I didn’t want to be a boy. I kind of wanted to be nothing,” she added. “I don’t relate to what people would say defines a girl or a boy, and I think that’s what I had to understand: Being a girl isn’t what I hate, it’s the box that I get put into.”
