Harris Dickinson stars in the new Steve McLean movie Postcards from London, and you can meet the actor and filmmaker at a special Q&A this month.

Dickinson previously made waves in last year’s moody gay drama Beach Rats and will now star in Steve McLean’s homage to a lost Soho in his follow up to his directorial debut Postcards from America.

The film follows Essex boy Jim (Dickinson) who travels to London’s Soho in search of fame, fortune and cultural stimulation.

While in Soho, he meets a group of high-class male escorts – The Raconteurs – who specialise in post-coital conversation.

Following this meeting, Jim goes from an unsuccessful escort to an artist’s muse.

Jim discovers he suffers from a rare psychosomatic condition called Stendhal Syndrome – where he becomes oversensitive to art – which threatens to bring about his downfall but also opens up to new opportunities.

The film – which debuted at the BFI Flare Festival this year – is slated to hit UK cinemas on November 23.

Now Dickinson and McLean will be at Picturehouse Central in London on November 20. To book your tickets visit here.
