Male London escort reveals his clients are mostly ‘straight’ married men
A male escort living in London has offered an eye-opening insight into the lives of his clients.
Oz, who defines himself as “closer to the straight end of the spectrum”, is originally from Australia, and says he was introduced to sex work seven years ago by his then-girlfriend, who had previously worked in the industry.
In an interview with Metro, Oz reveals that most of his clients are men who are married to or are in relationships to women, and that the most shocking thing he’s discovered since turning to sex work is “probably just how many guys are bi or bi-curious. A lot of people who you probably wouldn’t expect.”
He adds: “I expect we see a lot of bisexuals because gay guys can meet up with each other and they don’t need the discretion.”
Oz’s most popular service is a naked oil massage with sex but other clients enjoy kinkier activities that involve whips, sex toys, handcuffs and even gimp masks.
“Spanking is very common here, especially with ex-public school boys – they seem to have a bit of a kink for that and being tied up,” he reveals.
“I don’t see a lot of women for kinky stuff, it tends to be the older guys. I’ve got a ball busting regular who likes being kicked in the groin – and I used to practice Thai kickboxing so I can kick pretty hard.”
Naturally, Oz has rules, and while says he’s “open to all kinds of fetishes”, he doesn’t do drugs or offer the more affectionate “boyfriend services”, which include kissing and sex without condoms.
He adds that he may go on ‘dates’ with some clients, accompanying them to events, and that they would return to the client’s home or a hotel afterwards – but that he occasionally books a ‘dungeon’ venue if a client requests something that might get messy or requires some, erm, professional tools.
“There’s a few places in London that has specific equipment such as suspension racks – I’d rather not set things like that up at my flat as if the landlord comes by it might be a bit hard to explain,” he says.
Oz, who has built up a client base of ‘regulars’ over the years, says he supports the legalisation of sex work to improve the safety of those working in the industry, and reduce the potential for exploitation by others.
He adds that his family have no idea about his job and instead thinks he works in a “boring office job.”
“I tried to make it sound as dull as possible so they don’t ask too many questions.”
But despite the taboo nature of his work, Oz says the sex industry isn’t as exciting as many people believe.
“The stuff that people usually find interesting is the richest client or the most exciting date as they make the best stories. But I think people get the wrong idea about what it’s actually like – it’s just a job to us.”
