Kathy Griffin quits ‘Fashion Police’ after just seven episodes

By Josh Haggis

Kathy Griffin has announced that she is quitting Fashion Police after just seven episodes.

The US comedian joined the popular E! series in January, serving as the replacement for former co-host Joan Rivers who tragically passed away in September.

In a statement made on Twitter last night (March 12), Griffin claimed that she “wants to help women and gay kids,” rather than allowing herself to “contribute to a culture of unattainable perfectionism”.

Kelly Osbourne, who quit the show last month (February), revealed this week that she chose to depart the show after five years in order to “try new things” – find out more here.

Griffin’s co-star, celebrity fashion stylist and reality TV star Brad Goreski, recently got engaged to his boyfriend of 13 years – click here to find out more.
