The former Attitude cover star and Celebrity Big Brother winner is returning to our screens

Courtney Act has landed her very own Channel 4 late night chat show.

Dubbed the world’s first ‘dragazine’ show, The Courtney Act Show will reportedly feature musical numbers and celebrity guests discussing everything from pop culture to politics and will be hosted by the Celebrity Big Brother winner, real name Shane Jenek.

Reports suggest that Channel 4 filmed the pilot in May, though it’s currently unknown how many episodes have been ordered and when it will premiere.

Speaking about the show, Act said: “This is my show and I say come on in, all you heroic misfits, those of you who are a bit chipped around the edges…  I want to welcome you all.

“You bring the open minds and I’ll bring the open bar and we’ll meet in the middle for a gay old time!”

According to reports, Channel 4 chose to hire the former Attitude cover star because of her “star quality”.

Channel 4’s Commissioning Editor Sarah Lazenby said: “As entertaining as she is emotionally intelligent, as savvy as she is sassy, Courtney was born to perform. We are utterly delighted as she has chosen to come to the channel to host the world’s first ‘dragazine’ show.”

Courtney Act warmed the nation’s hearts after she won this year’s Celebrity Big Brother, which saw her form an adorable relationship with former Apprentice star Andrew Brady.

Will we be seeing the pair together on Act’s new show? We certainly hope so.
