Steps and Michelle Visage are continuing to give us the '90s pop X RuPaul's Drag Race crossover of our dreams as they unveil the sparkling new video for their recent new single 'Heartbreak In This City'.
Visage, 52, makes her most high profile return to music since she was a member of girl group Seduction in the early '90s as she joins Ian 'H' Watkins, Faye Tozer, Claire Richards, Lisa Scott-Lee and Lee Latchford-Evans for the futuristic new video.
Scott-Lee, who lives in Dubai, shot her scenes separately due to ongoing travel restrictions - but that doesn't stop her joining Michelle and the rest of the group in another classic Steps dance routine.
As if the video release wasn't enough, Visage is set to join Steps again when the group performs on The Graham Norton Show this Friday (2 April).
Speaking to Attitude last month, Michelle teased that becoming an honourary member of Steps might just inspire her to make a future return to pop.
"I've recorded stuff with Ru over the years, bits and bobs. This felt really good", Visage told us. "When I was in my girl group [Seduction] it was very Svengali-like. We didn't have a say in anything, we had the world's worst record deal - there was no freedom. So I didn't really enjoy the perks of being in a pop group.
"This has made me think, maybe I could do it on my own. But does anyone really need a 50-year-old pop star?"
The answer to that is of course yes, Michelle (and don't let Madonna hear you saying things like that).
The release of the 'Heartbreak in This City' videos comes as Steps announce that their seventh studio album, What The Future Holds Pt. 2 will be released later this year.
Spanning 15 tracks, the album includes 10 brand-new unheard songs, special stripped-back acoustic versions of previous singles and the revamped single mix of Heartbreak 'In This City'.
The record comes as Steps prepare to embark on an 18-date UK arena tour this November, where they'll be joined by another pop icon in the form of special gues Sophie Ellis-Bextor.
