The West End revival of Cock, starring heartthrobs Jonathan Bailey and Taron Egerton, is well and truly on the promo trail with the news that that Egerton will be discussing the play on The Graham Norton Show this Friday.

After posting an image of the cast on the first day of rehearsal last week the play’s Instagram account was updated to tease the Rocketman star’s appearance on the popular talk show.

Egerton and Bridgerton star Bailey will play a couple whose relationship is thrown into turmoil when one of them “meets the woman of his dreams” in the upcoming London production of Mike Bartlett’s provocatively-titled drama.

“So excited eek”

The post’s caption may have included not much more than a simple “Tune in”, but that was enough to get fans excited with one fan commenting, “So excited eek”.

Another fan posted in the comments “Oh yes be watching that [sic] while another user claimed it was “the best birthday present ever”.

We are just as excited to see Taron back on Graham Norton’s sofa and can’t wait to hear what he has to say about the upcoming production!

Cock originally debuted in 2009 at Royal Court’s Jerwood Theatre Upstairs, with Fleabag‘s Andrew Scott and James Bond’s Ben Whishaw cast in Bailey and Egerton’s roles.

The latest production is directed by Marianne Elliott, who previously directed former Attitude cover star Bailey in an award-winning 2018 revival of Stephen Sondheim’s classic musical Company.

An official synopsis of Cock reads: “John (Jonathan Bailey) is happy in himself, and with his boyfriend (Taron Egerton), until one day he meets the woman of his dreams (Jade Anouka).

They will also be joined in the cast by Phil Daniels.

You can catch Taron Edgerton on The Graham Norton Show on Friday 4 February on BBC One at 10:35 pm.

Cock is at London’s Ambassadors Theatre from Saturday 5 March – Saturday 4 June 2022. For tickets click here.
