To which Ball quizzed: “Your farewell tour?” and the dancer confirmed: “Yes and retire.”

Robin was previously partnered on the BBC One ballroom and latin dance competition with the likes of Patsy Kensit, Lisa Riley and Deborah Meaden as well as Alison Hammond and Sara Cox on the Strictly Christmas specials.

However, he was forced to leave the dance competition back in 2014 due to a "pre-existing back injury" and we can all agree, he is missed!
