'Strictly Come Dancing' slammed for 'trolling' LGBT fans with same-sex kiss

The opening of Sunday's results show saw Graziano Di Prima and Giovannia Bernice nearly lock lips

Strictly Come Dancing accused of ‘trolling’ LGBT fans with same-sex kiss.

During Sunday’s results show, the professional dancers took to Blackpool Tower’s famous dancehall to perform the opening number and although the dance was one of the best in this season so far, the BBC show has been slammed for trolling LGBT fans with a same-sex kiss that we all wanted to see.

The dance saw professionals Graziano Di Prima and Giovanni Bernice in a dance-off to win the love of fellow dancer Luba Mushtuk.

But when the two men both lean in to kiss Mushtuk, she ducked and the two male dancers almost – almost – lock lips.

Following the dance routine, many took to social media to congratulate the dancers but slam the BBC for ‘chickening out’ on the kiss that we all wanted to see.

Declan Cashin called out the show for trolling fans and wrote: “#Strictly trolling us over a same sex kiss”

Others expressed their desire to see the two hot male dancers kiss with one writing: “LET THE BOYS ON STRICTLY KISS YOU COWAAARDS”

Although cowering out of the same-sex kiss, this season of Strictly has made some small steps to be more inclusive of the LGBT community.

Just a few weeks ago, the opening performance saw, for the first time, a same-sex professional dance routine and the BBC was praised and many see it as a potential confirmation of same-sex partners next year.
