Schitt's Creek star Dan Levy has addressed the censorship of a gay kiss on his hit show by Comedy Central India.
Levy plays pansexual character David Rose on the award-winning comedy series.
The actor was referring to a (badly) edited clip shared on Comedy Centrl India's Twitter platform.
Tweeting the broadcaster this week, Levy said: "You showed the kiss between two women, you showed the kiss between a woman and a man, then removed the kiss between two men?"
The star added: "This is a show about the power of inclusivity.

"The censorship of gay intimacy is making a harmful statement against that message. #loveislove."

The video, shared by the channel last year, shows David and fellow character Ted (played by Dustin Milligan) going in for a kiss during a game of spin the bottle - but the scene cuts away before they ever lock lips.
Gay sex in India was legalised by the country's Supreme Court in September 2018.
"I had a platform to tell stories that would reflect my experiences"
Speaking to Attitude about LGBTQ inclusivity last year, Levy said: "I mean it was important in the sense that I had a platform to tell stories that would reflect my experiences and real experiences of my friends.
"It felt in a way kind of irresponsible not to seize that opportunity and tell stories that meant something, and stories that I haven't really seen that much on television. So, in that capacity it was really important. I was really proud of the work that we did, and I really loved the stories that we're able to tell."
Last month, Schitt's Creek made history when it became the first show to win all the four major acting Emmy awards. Relive more of its best moments below!
