Scarlett Johansson's new girl group has premiered their first track 'Candy' online. The actress formed The Singles with Haim star Este Haim, Holly Miranda, Kendra Morris and Julia Haltigan. scarlett_johansson_2013-wide In an interview with Rolling Stone, Johansson named Grimes, the Bangles and the Go-Go's as their influences, describing their material as "super-pop dance music". "I wanted it to be like those bands: ultra-pop but also a little ironic, a little in on the joke," she explained. The project follows Johansson's 2008 debut solo album, Anywhere I Lay My Head, which featured her take on a collection of Tom Waits songs. TV on the Radio's Dave Sitek, who produced the album, reunited with the star to produce 'Candy'.
