RuPaul's Drag Race UK will return in just four weeks' time, it has been confirmed.

The first episode will drop on BBC iPlayer on 14 January 2021, according to the official RPDR UK Twitter account.

Which, with the regular RuPaul's Drag Race dropping on New Year's Day, makes January 2021 a quite literally gag-worthy month for RPDR fans.

"Santa called"

"Santa called and said you can have one present early," said a rep on Twitter this afternoon.

"The first episode of #DragRaceUK series two lands on @bbciplayer on January 14th at 7PM."

The announcement follows unconfirmed reports that TOWIE star Gemma Collins is to serve as a guest judge on the Snatch Game episode of the upcoming series, which was plagued with production delays earlier this year.

Season one of RuPaul's Drag Race UK, featuring Michelle Visage, Graham Norton and Alan Carr as co-judges, launched on BBC Three in 2019, with The Vivienne ultimately seizing the crown.
