Remembering Nick Jonas’s bicep-busting Attitude cover shoot

We're a sucker for a Jonas brother...

It’s hard to believe it’s been two years since The Jonas brothers officially reunited, but as the group prepare to drop new single ‘Who’s in Your Head’ this Friday (17 September), there’s another reason to celebrate.

Thursday (16 September) marks youngest brother Nick’s 29th birthday, and what better way to celebrate than with a trip down memory lane – to 2014, to be precise – when the ‘Jealous’ singer appeared on the cover of Attitude for the first time.

The brooding, bicep-busting shoot in the Attitude December 2014 issue (which remains available to download here) came amid Nick’s ascent to full-blown gay pin-up, in part thanks to his turn as closeted boxer Nate Kulina on now-defunct US TV drama Kingdom.

In the accompanying interview, the then-22-year-old discussed kissing goodbye to his clean-cut Disney image, embracing his gay fanbase, and manscaping (or lack thereof). Of course, you can still read that interview in full here.

For now though, let’s enjoy the sights on this, Nick’s 29th birthday. Enjoy…
