Raye and Bimini to perform at huge LGBTQ New Year's Eve party at Wembley Arena

UK chart darling Raye and Drag Race legend Bimini Bon Boulash will be bringing in 2022 in style.

Raye and Bimini Bon Boulash are set to see in 2022 in style with performances at a mammoth LGBTQ New Year's Eve Party at London's Wembley SSE Arena.

'Bed' singer Raye, who's scored 10 UK Top 40 singles since bursting onto the scene in 2016, will be performing her smash hits live on stage flanked by drag queens at one of the capital's most prestigious music venues.

Meanwhile, Drag Race UK season two star Bimini Bon Boulash, who released their debut single 'God Save This Queen' in June, is also set to make a special guest appearance on stage.

It's all taking place at LGBTQ night Sink the Pink's "most extravagant, decadent, raucous queer party to date" on 31 December, where the theme of 'Happy New Wig' comes with a call for attendees to dress up and show off their wildest hair creations.

"I’m so excited now that live shows are back", declares Raye, 23. "Seeing everybody’s faces dancing and singing along fills me with so much joy.

"I’m so excited to be performing at Sink The Pink on New Year’s Eve. This year more than ever we need a big celebration at New Year, with the hope of a fresh start round the corner for everyone."

Bimini, who has already signed a modelling contract and book deal since finishing runner-up to Lawrence Chaney in the Drag Race series two finale, adds that they can't wait to be "tearing up Wembley Arena" this December.

"When I first came to London I went to Sink The Pink and I was always inspired by their core message about coming together and having no rules when it comes to freedom of expression", says Bimini, who a Sink The Pink drag pageant competition in 2019 before entering the Drag Race workroom.

"I owe a lot to Sink The Pink, so to come back and perform at Wembley with them feels like a huge full circle moment."
