Police release CCTV images after 'homophobic or transphobic' attack on London Underground

Police have released images of two men they would like to speak to in connection with a suspected 'transphobic or homophobic' attack on the London Underground.

Officers from the British Transport Police (BPT) said that the victim, a man in his 20s, was left with a fracture to his face after being hit while on a Tube carriage, My London reports.

The alleged assault took place on the Northern Line between Oval and Kennington around 11.50pm on Saturday, 29 February, officers said.

A spokesperson said in a statement: "British Transport Police are today releasing CCTV images following an assault on a Northern Line train in London.

"The incident happened as the train travelled between Oval and Kennington stations.

"Officers would like to speak to the men in the images who may have information that could help their investigation.
