Jock-clad men descended upon Manchester for the launch of the JOCK party over the weekend and it looks like we missed out!

JOCK party started off back in 2016 as a new type of club night on Manchester’s gay scene. An underwear and sports kit party with music and bi monthly themed events.

Due to popularity they soon moved to a monthly event and celebrated their first birthday in August 2017 with a ‘Lube wrestling special’ that was the party of all parties.

Month-on-month the parties have grown with the Neon, white and fetish party sponsored by Invincible rubber going down extremely well with customers.

Following Manchester Pride this year, the event moved from Eagle Manchester to a new venue, Night People - previously known as Alter Ego - and was the biggest and most successful party to date and included DJ sets from William Sizen Bell and Dave Ritson.

JOCK is run by now London-based personal trainer MJ Palmer and has a number of launch parties planned following support from their sponsors Clonezone and UK Hotjocks as well as justfor.fans.

Over the weekend, the official launch at the new Manchester venue, Night People, took place and it looks like it was a huge success!

Palmer said: "The event was a huge success and we can't wait to build and expand on the brand in this venue."

JOCK is launching in Birmingham next week (November 2) at the top floor of Nightingale and they are looking to launch the event in London and are currently in talks with venues to host.

Events coming up:

JOCK Birmingham - launch at Nightingale , Friday 2nd November (lower Essex st entrance)

JOCK Manchester - Neon Edition - Saturday 24th November at Night People

JOCK Manchester - Festive Edition - Saturday 15th December at Night People
