earlier this year.

, Dempsey is in final negotiations to play an as-yet-undisclosed role in the upcoming third Bridget Jones installment, which currently has a working title of Bridget Jones's Baby
The eagerly-anticipated sequel will see Renée Zellweger and Colin Firth reprise their respective roles as hapless Bridget and her haughty love interest Mark Darcy, but Hugh Grant will not be returning as smarmy Daniel Cleaver, leaving open the possibly that Dempsey could play the third side of any potential love triangle...
