11333-paloma_pressPaloma Faith has scored her first ever Number One on the UK’s Official Singles Chart. The singer's collaboration with British drum and bass duo Sigma, Changing, debuts at Number One today (September 21), becoming the duo's second consecutive single to sell over 100,000 copies in its first week on sale. Sigma previously topped the UK’s Official Singles Chart earlier this year with Nobody To Love, their reworking of Kanye West’s Bound 2. Faith’s best-performing single before Changing was this year’s Only Love Can Hurt Like This, which peaked at Number Six and has now notched up 22 weeks on the chart. “It’s amazing that this is my first UK Number One that I’ve achieved," Faith told OfficialCharts.com. "I’ve done three albums so far, so it just goes to show that if you hang in there, something’s got to give at some point! I've still got to push to get my own Paloma Faith Number One – this is a Sigma Number One and I’m grateful to be a part of it.” Elsewhere on the Official Singles Chart, Professor Green and former American Idol contestant Tori Kelly debut at Number Four with their new single Lullaby. Over on the UK's Official Albums Chart, Barbra Streisand enters at Number Two with her new duets album, Partners. The legendary diva is denied the fourth UK Number One album of her career by The Script, who debut at Number One today with their fourth album, No Sound Without Silence.
