Orlando soccer club dedicates seating section to Orlando massacre at new stadium

A new soccer stadium being built in Orlando for the Orlando City Soccer Club will have a section of permanent seats dedicated to the victims of the Orlando massacre which saw the mass murder of 49 people. OutSports reports that Philip Rawlins, the team president, tweeted an image of the rainbow-coloured seats. Alongside the photo, Rawlins wrote, "So happy to see out Pulse Orlando tribute seats being installed #DefyExpectations" Back in June, the soccer team dedicated a match to the victims and donated $1000,000 to the City of Orlando's OneOrlando Fund. They also held a minute's silence during the match. The new stadium, and dedication, is set to open in 2017.
