Olly Alexander strips down to a jockstrap for jaw-dropping Paper Magazine shoot

The Years & Years frontman is sexing it up as second album 'Palo Santo' is unleashed on the world.

Olly Alexander promised fans back in January that 2018 would be the year of the 'thirsty selfie' - but it looks like the Years & Years frontman is happy to let to photographers facilitate the sexy shots for him too.

Olly, 27, has left fans weak at the knees with a jaw-dropping new shoot for Paper Magazine which sees him bare his behind in a series of skimpy jockstraps as he opens up about his experiences of casual homophobia within the music industry.

Sharing some of the eye-catchng images on Instagram, the 'If You're Over Me' singer wrote: "being my demure self for @papermagazine thank you for making me a pride cover girl".

Olly's trademark humour was on show as he posted one particularly racy image of himself drapped across a man's lap sporting a pair of (brealy there) Versace briefs.

"I'm shy", he joked in the caption.

The shoot is yet more evidence of Olly's commitment to making sexual liberation and queerness a central tenet of Years & Years' campaign for their second album Palo Santo, which was released last Friday (July 6).

Alexnader has been open about his sexuality throughout his career, but revealed earlier this year that he was advised to stay in the closet when he first joined the band.

"[A media handler] said, with very good intentions I'm sure: 'Why does anybody need to know about your sexuality? What business is it who you go to bed with? Do you really want to invite personal questions like that? Maybe it's better to not say anything about your sexuality at all,' he recalled.
