Neil Patrick Harris has stripped naked for the the latest issue of Rolling Stone
The actor was photographed by Terry Richardson wearing just a dickie bow and top hat for the issue, which hits news stands on Friday (May 9).
Harris discussed the impact coming out in 2006 had on his career, while his brother Brian told the magazine that the actor found it more difficult to speak to family about his sexuality.
On coming out, Harris said: "Once all the cards were on the table, I got more opportunities than ever. Some actors don't get hired because you can't look into their soul and see what they're like, because they're kept guarded."
His brother added that it took Neil "three conversations" to come out to him, saying: "First he goes, 'I just don't think I'm going to date, really, for a while.' And he had some bad luck with the girls he dated early on. Probably because he was gay! And then we had a different conversation about how he likes girls, but he kind of likes guys too. And we had another conversation after that: He likes guys."
Harris's series How I Met Your Mother
recently concluded after nine seasons, and he is now appearing on Broadway in Hedwig and the Angry Inch
