Mark Hamill has called for Carrie Fisher to replace Donald Trump’s Hollywood Walk of Fame and we couldn’t agree more.
The Star Wars actor – who plays Luke Skywalker – posted an article from The Hill about the West Hollywood City Council’s decision to remove Trump’s star from the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Trump received the star back in 2007 for producing beauty competitions Miss USA and Miss Universe but WEHO City Council have called for the star to be removed following his alleged treatment of women.
The council said: “Having a ‘star’ on the Walk of Fame is a privilege that is highly sought after by those in the entertainment industry, allowing Mr Trump to continue to have a star in light of his behaviour toward women, particularly in the #timesup and #metoo movements, should not be acceptable in the Hollywood and entertainment industry communities.”
Now Hamill has called for the iconic Carrie Fisher – who sadly passed away in 2016 – to take his place and we couldn’t agree more.
Writing on Twitter, Hamill said: “Good riddance! (and I know just who should replace him....) #AStarForCarrie”

Hamill, Fisher and Harrison Ford – who played Han Solo – all reprised their iconic roles in the new and final trilogy in the Skywalker saga.
However, both Hamill and Ford have secured their place on the Hollywood Walk of Fame but the late great Fisher is still yet to be immortalised.
