A man who bragged on social media about attacking a gay man has pleaded guilty to aggravated assault.

Brandon Wiley, 24, was arrested last July in Murfreesboro, in Tennessee, after police discovered a 39-year-old man lying on the ground.

His nose was broken and had sustained fractures to his orbital sockets, which required hospital treatment, the Daily News Journal reported.

Wiley told police that the victim had grabbed his ‘junk’ and molested him, but CCTV footage of the attack didn’t align with his story.

The victim claimed that Wiley started assaulting him after he ‘propositioned him’ and a security guard saw Wiley repeatedly punching the victim.

Rather than trying to cover up the attack, Wiley posted several photos of himself covered in his victim’s blood on social media and bragged about the attack.

Wiley pleaded guilty to felony assault – which carries a minimum three-year prison term – and is set to be sentenced on June 28 in Rutherford County Circuit Court.
