Logo TV, the American cable channel best known for RuPual's Drag Race
, has given the green light on Finding Prince Charming
- a new dating show with an all-gay cast.
The programme is set to be hosted by N*Sync heartthrob Lance Bass
and is billed as America's "first gay dating show with an all-gay cast".
It follow a format similar to The Bachelor
, where 13 contestants compete for the attention of one lucky man who eliminates them one by one, though producers have been quick to point out that it is not a spin-off.
Although details of the contestants are as-yet unknown, TMZ
have reported that the bachelor will be the incredibly hunky Robert Sepulveda Jr, an Atlanta-based interior designer.
Senior vice-president for original programming at Logo, Pamela Post, said in a statement: "Logo has a long history of showcasing LGBTQ-focused stories with memorable characters that transcend pop culture".
"Finding Prince Charming
will take viewers on a whirlwind journey through modern love and relationships in a way that only Logo can do."
Let the games begin!
